The Search for a New Facility

LPCTV currently operates in a small room in the Ludlow Elementary School. As many of you who have visited the space are aware, the facility is quite cramped. Maybe you are already aware that we have been looking for a new space for quite some time. We have completed some designs, with the help of Virtual Habitat, Inc. of Chester, and continue to explore all options in the Ludlow area. If you are aware of any opportunities or possible spaces that might be available for rent or purchase, please let us know.

As a small, community-based non profit organization, we do not have an extraordinary budget for construction, nor can we afford high montly rents. However, as a 501 c3 organization, we are hoping that a potential seller or landlord might consider a donation of a portion of the total costs; all donations are tax deductible. We are also willing and interested to work with other groups with whom we might be able to share a building.

Here are is a list of criteria that any possible space should meet:

- a minimum of 2500 square feet of usable space

- a portion of the area (approx. 600 square feet) should have very high ceilings (ideally, at least 15 feet high), for our studio lighting

 - handicap access to most, if not all, of the total area

- central location to Villages of Ludlow and / or Proctorsville 

We would love to have a more accommodating and inviting space for the community to use. With a larger, more functional space, there are more opportuinities for more poeple to get involved and turn LPCTV into a top notch facility. Thanks for keeping us in mind!
